More Students Support Post Secondary: PDF Print E-mail

Thomas J. Dolatowski:
Post-Secondary Enrollment has greatly advanced my learning in high school this year. By attending Cuyahoga Community College, I was able to experience college life without making a commitment to a particular school. I have enjoyed every moment of being able to attend college while still in high school and I think it should be an opportunity for other students to come.

Philip Smoke:

I have been able to get a two-year head start on my education.  Rather than wasting time and tax dollars at high school, I have studies similar subjects at a higher level at CCC.  This eliminates the redundancy of taking subjects in High School, and then again in college.  I am very grateful.  Others should have the same opportunity to maximize their potential that I had.

Brooke Adams:
The Post-secondary program has been a great experience for me.  I met many new friends and grew academically with the help of some outstanding professors (Professor Mary Hurst was Amazing).  While earning credits toward my college career (saving my parents more money), I had to utilize many skills such as time management and self-discipline.  College curriculum differs from that of high school, and the PSEOP program helps to make that transition to college easier.  I will be attending The Ohio State University in the fall and I feel that this program has helped me prepare for the newfound responsibility and college environment.  This program is very beneficial and as many students as possible should have the opportunity to participate.

Sofiya Gatalyak:
For the past two semesters I have been attending Tri-c as a PSEOP student.  The experience has been amazing.  I was able to really understand what college life was like and the hard work that needs to be put into it to achieve my goals. It surely prepared me and continues to prepare me to enter harder and high education.
